Hanna has been drawing since she could hold a pencil, as well as constructing, creating and crafting all manner of creatures and miscellaneous bits and bobs with whatever flotsam she could lay her hands on.
Hanna completed a Diploma of Visual Arts in 2009, majoring in painting and drawing and incorporating aspects of sewing and textiles in much of her work. Shortly after graduating, Hanna started making and selling at design markets and ‘Hannakin’ was born.
Nowadays, Hanna works from her home studio in Naarm’s/Melbourne’s inner west, creating watercolour and collage illustrations, hand sewn soft sculpture art dolls and brooches, as well as designing all sorts of sweet accessories and thingumajigs for her creative label.
