Basically a self taught artist starting my career as an artist by drawing caricatures for workmates at the Kyabram hospital. Around 1983. I began exhibiting my work in local art shows. This led to good sales and commissions. Corporate and private commissions are in many countries around the world, including U.S.A. England, Scotland, New Zealand, holland Canada and Ireland. Over the years I have been involved in many joint Exhibitions in Melbourne, Daylesford, Nagambie, Shepparton, Echuca. Solo Exhibitions in Shepparton and Nagambie.
I paint in all mediums and styles and enjoy experimentation. My subject matter is also varied from wildlife to portraits and everything in-between as well as sculpture in clay and concrete.
I have my own Gallery in the heart of the Historical Port of Echuca called Glenda Cornell’s Whistle Stop Studio Gallery open 5 days a week closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
I believe I am a passionate artist I just love to be creative.
