The Victorian Woodworkers Association Inc, founded in 1979, is the leading woodcraft guild in Victoria. Its diverse membership includes professional designer/makers and wood artists, serious amateurs, students and industry organisations.
The principle aims are to:
– promote the design and making of fine woodwork
– expand the markets for fine woodwork
– support woodwork as a viable career
– foster excellence in woodwork production and design
– facilitate networking between woodworkers
To fulfil these objectives the VWA holds exhibitions, master classes, workshops, and programs covering a wide range of wood related topics at its bimonthly meetings, and this website.
