The Soap Bar is located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia and produces boutique style handmade soaps and natural body care products. Designed to nourish your body and soul; we use skin-loving oilseed butters, aromatherapy essential oils, natural clays and other additives designed to deeply cleanse and to help you maintain soft, supple and youthful skin.
We are a responsible ethical business, utilising environmentally friendly processes with natural, renewable and sustainable ingredients to provide the customer with handmade soaps and personal care products that enhance health and well being.
Many products that claim to be natural contain only small amounts of natural ingredients and many unnatural and even harmful ingredients. These substances can be absorbed by our skin into our bodies and accumulate in the tissues over time. This can result in systemic effects causing harm and dysfunction in our bodies. In addition, many personal care products contain substances that are derivatives of petroleum products.
Busy, stressful lifestyles combined with the drying effects of air conditioning, heating and the harmful effects of the sun, wind and environmental pollution are damaging to our skin leaving it dull, dry and flaky, thus diminishing it’s integrity and ability to protect.
We believe in giving back to the community that supports us. In July 2021, we started Soap for Hope. Each month we will donate 100 bars of soap to a different charity, for them to use/sell/raffle/donate as they like. As a small family business, it’s important for us to be involved in our local and national community. It’s just a bar of soap, but to someone in need it might mean a whole lot more.
