The Michelini Family have been growing grapes for generations. It is this long history and passion for viticulture which has help the Michelini name stand above the rest in terms of fruit quality. Before focusing on our own label, a large percentage of our vineyard was contracted to the likes of Olando Wyndym, Casella, Domaine Chandon and Grant Burge for their premium labels.
Located in the Alpine Valley in North East Victoria our vineyard is a cool climate vineyard with high rainfall. This region is perfect for whites, sparkling and italian reds. However the climate creates some unique challenges and requires some closer attention compared to other regions. Despite that the rewards at the end of the season are incredible; and after every vintage the pain is all worth it.
Michelini Wines continues the family tradition which is now into its 3rd generation. Founder, Father and Patriach Emo Michelini and sons Dino & Ilario Michelini and now 3rd Generation Kane Michelini.
