Other popular natural attractions in Queensland include Fraser Island, the Whitsunday Islands, and Carnarvon Gorge. Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world, with over 120 kilometres of beaches, dunes, and rainforests. The Whitsunday Islands are a group of 74 islands located off the coast of Queensland, known for their crystal-clear waters, white-sand beaches, and stunning coral reefs. Carnarvon Gorge is a spectacular gorge located in central Queensland, with numerous hiking trails, waterfalls, and rock art sites.
